For system protection and to prevent potential overflow or further processing errors, the appliance automatically initiates a safety procedure: the machine will then execute a drain sequence for one full minute to clear any partially filled water before allowing further troubleshooting or a reset attempt.

To resolve Error E1, careful inspection of the water supply and the path the water takes into the tub is required:
