A persistent inability to drain water will prevent the cycle from progressing to the next stage (usually rinsing or drying).

Here are the troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:

• Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages.

  • Kinks: Inspect the entire length of the corrugated drain hose, which typically runs from the back of the dishwasher to the drain connection point (usually under the sink or connected to the waste pipe). Ensure the hose is not sharply bent, crushed, or sharply folded behind the appliance or under the sink cabinet. A kink severely restricts the flow of water, preventing the pump from evacuating the water effectively within the required time limit.
  • Blockages: Disconnect the drain hose from the household plumbing connection (if safe to do so, after shutting off the water supply if applicable). Carefully examine the interior of the hose for accumulated grease, food debris, or scale buildup that could be obstructing the water passage. If a blockage is found, carefully remove it.
